Why do residents or nurse specialists quit their education? How can we pay attention to the well-being of health care professionals within clinical education? And how can research contribute to this? These and other questions concerning sustainable employability will be discussed during the second symposium ‘Research on clinical education’.

After a very successful first edition, the second symposium ‘Research on clinical education’ will take place on Thursday June 7, 2018, organized by SHE and MUMC+ Academy. This afternoon symposium aims at exchanging knowledge and ideas about ‘research on medical and nurse education in the clinic’, in order to facilitate more collaboration between researchers and health care professionals. This year’s edition has a focus on sustainable employability.

The symposium will consist of a keynote lecture, poster presentations, a workshop/brainstorming session and discussion in which we need your input. The symposium, which will be in Dutch, will take place in the NH hotel (next to MECC), from 13.00 to 17.00 hours, with drinks afterwards. You can register for this free symposium by sending an email to: The symposium has been accredited with 4 points (GAIA, NAPA, V&VN, V&VN VS).
