I am a medical doctor with interest in both internal medicine and medical education. From 2017 until 2021, I work as a PhD candidate at the department of Educational Development and Research. Additionally, I fulfil different teaching roles in bachelors and masters of the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences (mentor, teacher communication & reflection, change management & leadership). Lastly, I am PhD advisor to the Scientific Committee of the MUMC+. During my studies, I was active in multiple educational committees and accreditation panels and advised in boards of the university and the university medical center.

Interdisciplinary team learning for integrated education

Short description:
My PhD research focuses on interdisciplinary collaboration of teachers in the development of integrated health profession education. Specifically, the PhD studies aim to foster understanding and facilitate interdisciplinary team (learning) processes, learning cultures and psychological safety in the workplace. I use knowledge from educational sciences, management sciences, and health care, and apply qualitative, ethnographic, and quantitative methods.
