'I’m looking forward to continuing my PhD program with SHE'

Thanks God were the first words that I said when I landed in Schipol Airport because He already realized my dream to visit Holland . After I arrived in Maastricht, I had to prepare my first day for the summer course the next morning.

The course was so amazing. Two weeks had passed by so quickly before I realized that I ran out of time. From this PBL course I got three benefits.

Firstly, I learned how to be an effective tutor and teacher. I love the method of some teachers conducting and managing the class effectively. Besides that I was really amazed by the way they stimulate student’s creativity.

Secondly, I could learn about Dutch culture. Most of people there are very friendly and well-order in planning.

Thirdly, I got a chance to discover my passion for becoming a health professions educationalist and it even more inspired me to follow this career path.

The new Summer Course is innovated by the latest insights in health professions education. Maastricht University sets the example for student centred curricula as implemented by the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences of Maastricht University. Based on the characteristics of the Maastricht approach, the focus in this Summer Course is on managing and assessing learning in student centred curricula and sharing many theoretical and practical experiences.

I was so lucky to be there, to share the knowledge with other professionals from so many different cultures. I would like to say many thanks to Neso Indonesia which gave me the scholarship.

Now I am feeling in love with that city and I’m looking forward to continuing my PhD program there.
